Privacy, plainly

What we save

If you sign in: your email address, and for each day the notes, songs, mood, joy level, completion status and optional photo you choose to add. If you tick the updates box, your email is also added to our separate newsletter list. As a guest, nothing is saved; it disappears when you close the tab.

Who can see it

Only you. Your reflections and photos are locked to your account, and other visitors can never read them. Cup of Joy does not read your journal or sell your data. Our team can see sign-in emails and newsletter emails, and uses newsletter emails only if you opted in.

Private journal vs. sharing

Your journal is never shared automatically. Inviting a friend or saving a chapter graphic only shares what you see on screen (a link or a branded image), never your notes, mood or photos. Posting to Instagram or TikTok is entirely your choice and follows those apps' own policies.

Services that help run Blue Magic

The site, sign-in, database and photo storage are hosted on Lovable Cloud. Sign-in links are sent by email through that service. Links to Instagram, TikTok, Strava, Spotify or Apple Music open those services, which have their own privacy policies. We don't use AI to read your entries, and we don't run ad trackers.

Deleting your data

You can remove any day's photo from that day's page, and clear any note by saving it empty. To erase everything at once, use the button below. To leave the newsletter or delete your account email, message us on Instagram @cupofjoyclub.
